Venture out to a Region 19 ABATE meeting, where you can meet people, have fun, and make a difference.
We discuss Region business, such as treasury, events, what other regions are doing, as well as what other motorcycle groups are doing. The main focus however is to keep informed as to legislative activities in our region, in Michigan, and around the USA. We always send letters to our Representatives and Senators.
Don't worry, the letters will be made up ahead of time, so you won't have to work too hard. We do have fun at the meetings.
We are also on the watch for insurance discrimination and any other unfair practices that discriminate against motorcyclists.
We meet at 7:30 PM the first Tuesday of every month at Cool Jerks, which is downstairs of Airway Lanes in Waterford (4825 Highland Road (M59), 1 mile east of Pontiac Airport).
We encourage other motorcycle chapters and groups to have a representative speak at each region meeting to inform us of their events. We will be glad to include this in the monthly meeting agenda.
Plenty of parking is available.
